SUMMER FUN

Today I had a chance to take the boys to Dinosaur Park. Ford has been begging to go for ages and my lessons canceled last minute so we decided to take a picnic and have a fun morning. Ford is such a great big brother and he was showing Ev all around and trying to help him not be afraid. By the end of our trip Ev was waving to all the dinosaurs and trying to hug them. Ford's favorite was the laying down one with blood (not sure why but he was fascinated with it) and Ev loved the little robot ones. It was so fun watching the two boys interact and see what good friends they have become.

Summer has been so busy and we are having so much fun. We were able to have the kids be in the children's parade for our city's heritage days. They loved decorating the wagon and waving to people. They also enjoyed all the fun free activities that they had for the kids after the parade. Ford loves bounce houses and Ev loves the tractor ride from a nearby farm with a corn maze. They enjoyed all the candy they got from the parade and the snow cones. They were undecided about the fireworks, Ev was too tired and Ford was too cold.

We had a fun Fourth of July and we did some work on the house (trying to get ready for the baby.) Then we went to American Fork to see their cousins and celebrate their Aunt's birthday. The boys really enjoyed the fireworks that we did at our house that night. Ev clapped and laughed while Ford ran around and helped Dad choose which ones to light. They both stayed up way too late but had tons of fun.
