We are now back in our time zone and have been enjoying the rest of the summer. We made a few trips to the zoo, the kids were so sad that they could not ride the elephants. We spent a week at Snowbird and the kids loved being in the outdoors. Ford really enjoyed the Alpine slide, he is a real speed demon. Everett turned into a fish and spent most of his time underwater-he is still working on the technique, several people thought he was drowning and tried to save him. He was fine and was just enjoying underwater. He also loved the tram. Adelynn was a delight and enjoyed walking around and waving to the potguts. We missed Dad a lot because he was at work during the day.
I got really spoiled for my birthday and received some beautiful pearls that Collin bought as a surprise in Thailand, and a new bike with a trailer for the kids. Ford told me that it was the best day of his life, when we were riding around the block. Adelynn did not get a chance to open her presents because Everett was extra helpful at opening them all. She did enjoy eating her ice cream and playing with her baby doll and riding a new horse.
Ford is still too young for school so we are getting excited for another year of preschool. Everett keeps pretending that he is going to school, and packs a backpack for school just about everyday.
